KGaA, to be resolved at its Annual General Meeting on 19 August 2026 \u2013<\/p>\n With its new name and corporate design, the company draws on its roots as a long-standing leading German venture capital provider under the name German Startups Group and underscores its strategic evolution into a technology-focused investment holding. The current VC portfolio includes a 36 % stake in AuctionTech<\/a>, held through its wholly owned subsidiary German Startups Group VC, which, through its SaaS-based white-label solution PropNow<\/a>, is a European market leader in digital bidding and offer processes for the real estate market \u2013 propnow.com<\/a>. In addition, a 32 % stake in Softmax AI<\/a>, a company builder focused on artificial intelligence, as well as an indirectly held 23% stake in Cognicare AI<\/a>, a spin-off from Softmax AI that successfully develops and operates AI-based applications for the growing number of senior care facilities \u2013 softmax-ai.com<\/a>, cognicare.ai<\/a>.
